EDUCATION
To practice real estate sales, or act as mortgage broker, under the California Bureau of Real Estate, either a Real Estate Salespersons License or a Real Estate Brokers License is required. Brokers are required to have a 4 year college degree, or a minimum of 2 years as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, successful completion of all real estate course requirements, and the successful passing of an extensive State Brokers License Exam. In comparison, Salespersons must pass a less extensive Salespersons License Exam, are subject to fewer real estate course requirements, and are not subject to the same college education or experience requirements. I represent you as an experienced Broker—not merely as a licensed salesperson. Which would you prefer representing you?

As of January, 2011, to act as an MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator), the mortgage agent must pass NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) course requirements, pass the NMLS national and state exams, and pass required credit and background checks. The California Department of Real Estate then issues an MLO endorsement to the real estate licensee's license. I scored over 90% on both the national and state exams.
